Just launched - try out the new, ‘Coverage Map!’

As part of Oxfordshire County Council’s Digital Infrastructure Programme, the new ‘Coverage Map’ was launched in August 2019 to show broadband coverage across Oxfordshire. The map shares the latest information, which has been collated from a number of sources available to the County Council to provide an indicative view of the current and future broadband provision across the county.

The ‘Coverage Map’ can be used to provide an estimate of existing speeds available to premises and when fibre broadband may be coming to your area. Additionally, the map can also show areas where our market research has suggested fibre broadband is already available or will be commercially in the next two years (commercial coverage plans relate to a number of different fibre broadband providers).

To navigate the ‘Coverage Map,’ there is the familiar feature of a ‘search box’ to allow searching by postcode. The details of each individual premise can also be viewed in the pop-up box by selecting the circle symbol.
